What does the Web Development Team do?
The WEB Development Team is working on an Internet of Things services, especially all the tasks related to the Internet. We develop an online platform that stores data collected from objects at construction sites on servers and allows field managers to monitor site information in real time. In addition, we’re developing and maintaining the company’s website to promote Musma through online channels.
Please tell us web development team’s slogan and the meaning of the slogan.
We are the best in Busan!
In fact, Musma’s web development team is still not enough to call itself the best development team in Busan. But as the saying goes, “Fake it till you make it,” we set a slogan to become the best web development organization representing Busan through continuous business innovation and team learning.
I’m curious about the work of the members of the Web Development Team.
Jung Yong-je (Team Leader): As a team leader, I have overall control over projects related to web development. I analyze each project’s customer needs and plan applications. And I also participate in development during the implementation phase.
Lee Hyun-soo (Senior Researcher): I play the role of back-end development and DevOps. The primary task is to store, manage and efficiently operate data from objects on cloud servers. And I design architectures and applications according to analyzed customer requirements and planning proposals. Also, as a study leader, I am leading the formation of a learning culture within the team.
Kim Young-soo (Director Researcher): As a front-end developer, I’m responsible for organizing the screens that customers encounter through a web browser. Since I also manage the homepage, you can say that all the screens of the website that is made in Musma went through my hands.
What are the required skills and recommended capability for the team?
The WEB development team is a team that develops the body’s spine in comparison to humans, connecting objects in the field and the manager’s platform. Therefore, you should have a good understanding of WEB technology as a whole. And even within the ICT sector, where technology develops day by day, especially, WEB-related technologies have very short life cycle. So, people who always learn new skills and have a habit of developing themselves steadily can work for a long time. Front-end development requires an understanding of the customer and a service mind to satisfy the customer because it develops UI that is in the closest proximity to the user, and back-end development is an efficient task of managing data of countless objects, which is likely to be helpful in thinking based on strict logic.
