What kind of work does the Strategic Planning Team do?

The Strategic Planning Team is responsible for establishing a strategic direction that suits the company’s direction so that Musma can continue to maintain and grow its competitive edge, while also overseeing tasks that take place in contact with customers such as sales, marketing, public relations and branding. The strategic planning team consists of sales tasks that introduce Musma’s products and solutions to customers based on the sales strategy that suits the target, marketing and public relations tasks that produce various and meaningful contents to facilitate communication between Musma and customers, and design tasks that play an important role in enhancing Musma’s branding visually and enhancing brand intimacy.

Please tell us slogan of the Strategic Planning Team and the meaning of the slogan.

Easy, Clear, Witty!

The strategic planning department should basically always think about it from the customer’s perspective. And it’s important to convince other departments to deliver our services from the perspective of our customers and to develop them into better services. Since communication is the most important department, I think we should respect each other’s thoughts and have a deep and enough conversation. So, I found the slogan, “Work with ease and clarity when it comes to efficiency but wit when it comes to relationships.”

I’m curious about the work of the team members of the Strategic Planning Team.

Seo Jung-woo (Director/Team Leader): As the overall manager of the brand, I plan and promote the brand management and medium and long-term management strategy. And I oversee creating brand royalties and managing sales growth through product development and communication activities.

Yoo So-min (Chief Manager/Marketing): I establish and implement online marketing strategies according to Musma’s basic business direction.

Kim So-yeon (Assistant Manager/Design): I establish and develop a design strategy for building brand identity and image and organizing the brand’s visual system.

What are the required skills and recommended capability for the team?

First, attention and affection for the world and people are essential. Since we are at the forefront of preparing for the company’s future,there are so many factors to consider, including the environment surrounding the company and the flow of the global economy, that we need a variety of attention and affection.

Second, communication skills. Strategic planning tasks have many opportunities to collaborate with various departments in the company. The ability to listen to the other person’s words, to deliver my opinions accurately and politely, to appeal to the other person is required, and the job of doing business with foreigners is also required to have a command of a foreign language.

You can correct the path when you quickly identify the phenomenon and pinpoint the cause of the problem. This is the moment when you feel strongly responsible for the strategic planning tasks that determine the company’s big direction and plan branding. The ability to analyze is required, and the ability to quickly act on decisions is essential.
